At Thunder Store we pride ourselves on supplying quality refurbished Ex-lease & Second-hand IT products. If you think the item you have purchased from Thunder Store is not operating as it should or is defective, please do contact us immediately so we can help you resolve any issues as soon as possible.

Before an item goes up for sale, our trained technicians test and evaluate each ex-lease and second-hand product to ensure correct working order. We aim to describe each item in as much detail as possible and only use real product photographs to help you evaluate the item and make an informed decision. All known faults and cosmetic imperfections are described within affected products’ descriptions. Unless otherwise stated all products are supplied with our 3-month, Hardware only, return to base warranty (RTB). This warranty is effective from the date of purchase only as detailed on your invoice/receipt.

Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and any repairs effected during that time unless agreed to by Thunder Store. Please contact us as soon as you feel an issue has arisen. If an item is faulty on arrival or damaged in transit, you must notify us within SEVEN DAYS. We will ask that the goods be returned to us and a replacement will be provided following an assessment of the goods. According to The Consumer Guarantees Act, should a fault arise with an item purchased from Thunder Store, the original purchaser/customer is required to return the item to our premises at the customers cost. Thunder Store will not accept any returns without being contacted first. Thunder Store will assess the returned item and carry out any repairs in a quick and efficient time frame if the fault is confirmed and is covered by our warranty policy; our repairs turnaround time is typically 3 - 7 Business days from receiving an item into our warehouse, unless otherwise stated to you or if additional parts are required to proceed with the repair. Once repairs are completed Thunder Store will courier the item back to the customer, using our standard courier service. When an item has known faults stated within the item’s description, those faults will not be covered by this warranty.

3-month RTB Hardware Warranty covers repair or hardware/components sold by Thunder Store Only. It does not cover software faults or corrupted file systems due to Operating System upgrades/updates or software configuration errors. Any changes to hardware/software configuration and added components not installed by Thunder Store will void warranty and no warranty service will be provided. Acts of misuse, accidental or deliberate damage, or foreign objects/substances entering the item will void warranty and no service will be provided.

Consumable items are not covered by warranty e.g. Projector Lamps, Batteries and Toner/Ink. Battery issues or any problem relating to battery charge time, how long a battery lasts for under use or any other issues with batteries are not covered. Batteries are second hand when sold unless the item is specifically sold as a brand new item. Life of Battery is relevant to how it is treated.

“Change of Mind” and order cancellation.

We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase so please choose carefully. You do have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act if the products or services supplied are faulty. If you changed your mind or want to cancel an order, there will be a 20% restocking fee + $25.00 admin fee charged to complete the process.
